Draw a Manga Girl
In this tutorial, we are going to create a unique draw a manga character. Copying your favorite Manga and Anime characters can be fun, but it’s much more useful to design your character, giving them their own story (even if you didn’t write it) and attributes. For this draw a manga, I decided to create a humanoid, Cyborg cop. So, she needs a standard-issue gun and futuristic clothing. What qualities does he have? Well, he’s talking to the dregs of a dystopian society, so he’s going to have some damage. He lost his arm and replaced it with robotics, and had brain surgery to enhance his thinking ability. He is smart and communicates his challenges, so he has a sharp, athletic look.
To create a cool manga character, we follow a simple process of designing a pose on the wireframe, draw a manga figure, and layering the elements and accessories.
Start with a wireframe of your character’s pose, then sketch the forms and outline the figure. It is really useful to use anatomical references if you want an extra level of realism. Accessories and props – such as guns, straps to be held, or objects to lean on – are included in this stage of draw a manga, as the pose makes no sense without them, and you risk having to make basic adjustments if you leave them.
Drawing Cyborg Parts
You can let your imagination run into creating cyborg limbs, but it’s common to keep some basic human proportions. Raising human bone structure in steel can look interesting and structural. Look at real-life robotics to get ideas on how the joint mechanism fits. While many anime characters are heavily stylized – this makes animation easier and faster, so much more affordable – there is also a lot of variety in styles, with a lot more realistic in design. This character is somewhere between the two.
This character, being a cyborg cop, is often in the way of damage so his outfit includes some protective elements – a bike -a leather suit with armored panels; A Gladiator’s spaulder inspires spikes on his shoulder.
Inking Your Draw a Manga
If you get that with a very light touch, you can ink directly over your pencil line drawing with a bulletproof, smudge-proof pen, and then erase the pencil. Alternatively, you can use a blue pencil image for your drawing, which will not be noticed by the scanner (or can be dropped out by adjusting the blue channel if it is). Another option, if you are using a pencil graph to create, is to scan and convert your drawing to a light blue that you can then print, ink and re-scan. These steps are also explained in this tutorial.
Many artists use digital methods to clean up their work; if you clean your drawing pencil properly, you can scan it, and use a Free and Open-Source vector draw a manga program like Inkscape to convert the drawing to a vector image and use smoothing and noise reduction options to create a smoother look.

The last Cyborg Cop Character
Here is the completed, inked character. Keep it simple and clean, color the contour line, using outline instead of shading. If you use a colored pen, color your 3d drawing then check out these tips on keeping your drawing clean for the best results.
